Ever since she was little, Kelsi knew she was destined to have a career within the wedding industry! Kelsi attended the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising to study bridal design while also interning with LA-based wedding planners to have a full-rounded scope of the wedding world! After having spent many years in bridal fashion, Kelsi found herself returning back home to Aspen, Colorado to begin her career in the hospitality side of the wedding industry.
Working as the Senior Event Manager for Casa Tua Aspen, the iconic Hotel Jerome, and prestigious Roaring Fork Club, her clients included the Aspen Food & Wine Classic (Silverado Vineyards, Z. Alexander Brown Wines, Casa Del Sol Tequila, American Express, Chefs Andrew Zimmerman and Kristen Kish, just to name a few); DocuSign, Aspen Institute, Toyota, Chanel, Monster Energy Drink and countless private members and luxury wedding planners to create spectacular events in the heart of Aspen.
After launching her original event planning and day-of services company, ZG Events Aspen, Kelsi worked with a global, luxury event planning company, GoBella Design & Planning, allowing her to work with incredible clients, vendors and venues across the country. Producing events with this luxury event company, Kelsi was even named in Vogue weddings!
With a new baby girl and an extreme appreciation for all that she’s accomplished, Kelsi has rebranded and relaunched under K.Shannon Events to bring luxury planning and design services throughout the mountains of Colorado and beyond!
